Sydney (CelestialMonstR) - Art School Journey

Hello everyone, I go by CelestialMonstR or Sydney and I'm a 27 y/o hobby artist from Germany, trying to reconnect with my love for art.
I've been an artist since as long as I can remember, but more specifically been trying to pursue it as a career for around 12 years.
With the long bits of breaks in between (which sometimes took years) I was slacking off a lot, which was not that big of a problem in of itself, cause I didn't do it professionally (yet) but I just felt like a huge part of me is missing and that drawing is my calling.
I've been having an eye on the Art School for a couple years now but was never really able to set aside time or money or was lacking motivation to actually do it.
But that changes now!
I want to concentrate on getting better at what I can do best (I think).

So today I wanna start my Art School Journey here with you guys, hopefully rekindling the flicker and let it bloom back into a raging blaze.

My proficiency lies within character Illustration and Design and I dabble into 3D Character Modeling every now and then because I'm also an aspiring Game Dev, so I hope what I learn here can help me along the way!♥

These are some of my artworks I've done over the years, they're not the best and I don't have a lot (that I can show here, because my content is a bit spicy in nature) but I hope its enough to gauge my skill level. lol

TERM 1 - Week 1 / Day 1 - Assignments 1 + 2

Sadly I don't have as much control over my pen pressure because of the age of my tablet (and pen) but I tried my best!
(I was struggling a lot with the last one because I forgot that hue-shifting was a thing, oops It's still not perfect, but at that point I was sitting on it for so long, I just couldn't bother to nitpick lolol)
