I've been ghosting around these forums for a while now and it seemed to be about time I started my own art blog. Ill be posting various sketches as I try to improve myself in a variety of ways. It'll probably mostly be character designs, poses, and maybe some illustration roughs and the like. I look forward to posing here! Also, excuse the lame lake joke. Tahoe's been my online handle for a long time.

here's my first post for the blog--a character idea I started working on a little while ago for a character with a sort of evil priestess theme. On the final design she uses a mallet as a melee weapon and conceals a large prayer bell under her sleeve that she uses for more powerful magical attacks. I'll probably be posting a final design sheet and an illustration of her at some point, if I can ever wrap my head around color enough to make something look good!

Here's another sketch I started last night, with some flats to make the character pop. Lots of work to be done, but I think the idea's coming along!

some very quick composition sketches I did today, trying out the lasso tool and a 100% opacity brush. It speeds things up a lot!
