Hello, Everyone~
I'm Taylor, 27 years old and a native of New Orleans, US~!
I'm currently an English Teacher in South Korea but I really want to move on and pursue my passions. I bought art school quite a few months ago, as I already loved Marc's videos on youtube, but have barely gotten a chance to do get around to it and practice with my hectic daily life.
I'm self-taught, though I did go to "art school." It ended up being a complete waste of time and money as the college's professor's were more concerned with you making "werid and unique" art than teaching you the skills you need to pursue your own interests. Since then I've just been working odd jobs like being a children's librarians and English teacher abroad.
But art is more than a hobby for me - it's literally what I want to do with my time (other than eating, sleeping, and playing games haha). I love concept art and character design, but I feel like I really lack on my fundamentals, in some places much more than others. So, I'm taking this course to finally give myself the confidence I need to move into an art career hopefully and quit stalling!
Any constructive criticism is welcome and I'm really hoping to engage in the community here to get to improvin'!
