Hey my username on DA is Porkydoll, if you want to see what I've been floundering upon for the last 10+ years c': Here are my assignments (thus far) which I'm sure could be far more impressive if I had been more diligent an artist OTL.

ps - I love colours and I don't have a lot of experience drawing in photoshop since I've been a PTSAI for about 8 years, though I used to do photomanips way back when c';

The last assignment of the Photos for digital production section I believe? I don't like working with Liquify this much ahaha. Clearly not very good at this but it'll do c:

Also; Whenever I use the colour picker (latest photoshop) it changes the colour of my background colour (the one you'd see if you were erasing something whilst the layer is locked) instead of my foreground colour, does anyone know how I can fix this? It's highly annoying and jarring whilst I am trying to work.

Make sure the foreground square is selected

The foreground square is the lack one right? Cause even if I've clicked the 'reset button' (the miniature black and white squares) and then colour pick, the white square is changed.

Also thank you c': I think the idea was good but my execution could have been better

Whilst I struggle along with the mystery of my colourpicker tool, I none the less got to continue on my room, so here's a progress shot because I'm still thinking about what I should add though, I'm awful at filling up a blank canvas. I'm thinking it's like a spa resort or a luxurious bathroom, Any suggestions?

I think the roof seems a bit empty. Maybe a light or another window?

Also, some shelves on the right wall and beside the door might look good!

All of your work looks fantastic so far Keko. I especially love your image composite. The Dutch angle really helps create a sense of drama to it. One thing I will suggest is that you work on the nose on the combo of RDjr and Gilbert Gottfried. The nose isn't centered, and its not in the "all people are not symetrical" way but a bit in the, "This doesn't belong" way. Like, it is REAL close, but off JUST enough. Sort of like the Peter Cushing and Carrie Fisher models in Rogue One. They were good, but just a bit off.

Hey, thank you for the compliment c: I struggled a lot with the face and especially the nose placement, so I'm not surprised it's noticeable. I'll have to give it another go and see if it turns out better a second time round, thank you for the feedback as well c:

By no means is it meant to be negative criticism. I really think your work so far is outstanding. Certainly more dialed in than my own. As Marc said, we grow here by helping each other, so I just hope that my critiques ARE helpful.

@Tenzo Thank you I'm quite pleased with the shape of the bath c: I've added a few more elements but it's still lacking some life to it, so I hope to add a few details when i next have the time, gotta add in a few more curves too probably, thoughts?

Oh yeah, now it feels much more whole, I like it. The only thing that is bugging me is the windows on the left wall (not sure if it's a window). It is a bit confusing, not sure if it's in the wall or sticking out of it. I think there is something wrong with the perspective there.

But all in all, I really like your drawing

Whew I'm not dead, but the flu hit out 3 piece family very hard so I've been nursing my baby boy back to health, as well as my man baby and myself haha. Then a fun filled family weekend to follow and I'm still not 100%, but at least there's progress!

I've finally started on my Apples basket manip, but something like that is super tedious to me so I'll be doing it in slow bursts. I'm also gonna start the extended version of line practice in a bit so I hope to have that done soon too so I can go back to working on the Spa Room <3
