Thanks!
It's a bit difficult to find time, but I try my best to at least do 30 mins of gesture drawing every day.
I managed to do this one during my lunch break at work yesterday. I think I'll finish it up digitally, it's a bit weird going back to traditional art after seeing how much easier some things are digitally XD

Hey Watercolour, these are looking pretty neat! You really got the gestures right and even went as far as going into the features and a bit of the anatomy =). I dont have too much feedback on the figures on itself as they look pretty good and just keep doing more! But since you've shown interest in the light and shadow I could give a little bit of feedback which is: try to look at the shadows as identifiable 'shapes' that have edges (soft, firm or hard, depending on typ of shadow) and work on 'defining' those a bit more. Making clear statements with your shadowshapes and egdes will really help empower your image! Good luck and I cant wait to seeing more from you =)

Thank you for the comment, @Ardeey! I tried that, it makes things a bit easier, thanks!
I worked some more on this one, however I focused a bit too much on the face so it looks weird with the body ... So I cropped it and I will shade the body too later on.
Critiques are welcome!

Awesome job! Cant wait to see the rest of the figure =)

These are very impressive! Thank you for sharing

@Watercolour that digital render in greyscale looks absolutely amazing. Really good :open_mouth:

As per feedback:
I guess try to work on more confident lines in your gestures. Ghost in a line before you draw it and try to work on pushing less hard on the paper. Practice holding your pencil in different ways (check google on different grips or observe how artists you admire hold their pencil while drawing) and see what benefit each grip has.

Keep it up! Can't wait to see you progress. You're doing great =)

I realize we're now at term 3, and I'm still struggling to finish watching all the videos for term 2 ... and still doing assignments for term 1
Here's what I did for the perspective practice (2-point with the 90-degree rotation for the chair):

Wow, these are very nice I like them. Keep up the good work!
