I noticed on your adjustments that they are all just a bit brighter than the target photos, I believe that is very common given that it tends to be a bit more attractive to the eye. try taking the lightness and saturation down a bit and match them closer to the photos. Its fairly subtle you got quite close.
In your photo - bash/manip/not sure what we are calling those there is an inconsistency in the light of the images that you put together, try fiddling with your hue/saturation a bit more on the house and dock levels to see if you can get some of that warm light that is present on the mountain, look closely at how the warm and cool colors on the mountain all have a similar undertone and try to match that.
