Hey everyone, I'll be posting my assignments here. It's my first time on a forum but I am really excited to be taking this term. Whenever I'm going to do something new and exciting I tend to put in a huge amount of time into it in the first 2 days and then my progression completely dies down. Sometimes for as long as half a year. Yea, no Bueno. So for this I'm going to experiment and just start with an hour a day. Tips and constructive criticisms are welcome and I'm looking forward to seeing overtime progression!

Assignment 2 - Image Adjustments

Late post. I kept forgetting to update. By the time I completed this assignment I increased the hours I would dedicate each day to 2hrs. I was pretty happy to get the ball rolling even though I would get frustrated at first because I didn't progress as fast I thought I should be.

The 4th image adjustment took me the longest to figure out.

Assignment 3 - Combining Images

Dedicated daily hours pushed 3 to 5hrs on available days. Seems to be working out. I will be keeping these hours so that I still have time for school, work, and life. On occasion to some days when I cant help but keep going. Later I will try to implement deadlines on myself so I don't spend too many days on some projects or assignments.

Male 8-head proportion grid

I decided to practice on paper for this one. The page in the right is the one I started first. It took me about two days of practice while looking at the example image to complete it. I then did the image on the left by memory. I decided to time myself to track my progress. 1st 31min; 2nd about 17min; 3rd about 11 minutes.

I think it probably would of initially been better if I had drawn it side by side. Looking at it now I can see some of the mistakes I did. For example, the tibia for the standing leg needs to be longer and straighter. Also, the waist needs to be a little wider and a few other minor things that I think will come with more practice. So far this has been a good learning experience.
