So I took a few days off to spend more time with my wife and kid but I hope to jump back in and continue my art journey!

*** Color and Light Theory 01 Assignments ***

I kinda breezed this lesson through because I studied shadows before so I did the minimum amount of assignments

*** Anatomy 03 Assignment ***

Took a couple o' weeks working on anatomy on and off. Life does make it hard to focus on one thing at a time

Anatomy was my weakness but now I'm feeling more confident but sooooo much more practice is still needed to actually draw half decently... Just like Marc said: do it for a couple of years and you will get it someday lol. Count this as month 1 I guess XD

I also did a little bit of character design before I jump into Term 05!

Is it just me or anyone has the same issue? I always catch my mistakes after I post them lol. I did't turn his left (his right) leg muscles and it's facing me like I'm a huge failure...

I really think that is one of the benefits of posting, something about seeing it again really does help to notice the more subtle errors. Keep at it!

I'm excited to start a new term! I really feel like all those previous terms came together.

*** Character Design Assignment 01 ***

I mainly focus on drawing and painting landscapes in the past and through this lesson I really came to love characters too!

*** Character Design Assignment 02 ***

I put a bit more time into this one mainly because I still struggle with anatomy and rendering.
In the beginning I had soldier in mind but it seemed too generic and boring so I gave her some robotic modifications

I went back and fixed up some designs and attempted to render it out a bit. Next step is color and maybe texture too.

*** Character Design Assignment 03 ***

I wasn't happy with the second character so I tried my luck and came up with a new one instead.
I tried coloring right after the line work and it was really hard. Took way too long to try and figure things out. But in the end I think I learned alot (what not to do).

*** Mech Design ***
This went through a couple iterations but at the end I decided on this design.
It's a drilling mech for mining.

Wow, thank you very much, did not expect someone would help me with this. I really appreciate it. By the way, I just take a look at assignment folder on the official website. It is ~44mb while others are just some kilobyte, I wonder what is insid it? Damn, wish I can get back my account

No worries at all! As someone who also just got back to pursuing this course, I admire your courage in coming back. :)) That's all the important bits in there. All there is to it are some PSD files about Casting Shadows and Anatomy it covers for that course. I hope you can settle your account soon and get back to the grind. Cheers!
