Hello Everybody.

Its been a while since I posted anything. Been working hard on Anatomy 3 (By far the longest class I've taken from ART SCHOOL).

Like all my previous post I wanted to make sure I had a firm understanding of the material covered in the course. At the very least I feel confident in saying my understanding of Anatomy has improved.

I Also watched the Lecture on FILM & GAME PRODUCTION but I didn't see any actual assignments for that course (Please correct me if I'm wrong)

As always all critiques are welcome. Thank you.

ANATOMY 3

As I mentioned in the post above, this class is the longest so far for me (It feels like it has 2 classes in one because it combines both the arms and the legs into one).

I tried to take as many notes as possible and summarize the material to help me better understand the Anatomy. I will post my notes here as well as my work.

I should note that I didn't follow the assignments to T ( I skipped the assignment where I draw everything together & the one about playing with the proportions mainly because I wanted to save that for the Character Design class ahead and also because at this point I've done it a lot while sketching.

1.1 - ANATOMY NOTES (ARMS & LEGS)

I believe Marc did a great job at summarizing the anatomy of the body that my notes got weaker as I progressed through the videos. However, I hope this helps somebody.

1.2 - MUSCLES OUTLINES (ARMS & LEGS)

This assignment was pretty straightforward, just help me familiarize myself with the muscles and their locations. Highly recommend doing this assignment if you're having trouble.

1.3 - ARM & LEG MUSCLES

Like last time I wanted to have something to compare to. So I continued adding muscles to Skeletons I already had.

Half-way through the assignment I noticed that my skeleton was a bit messed up (I created the skeleton way back in TERM 1). so I spent a few days making corrections and refining a few details.

It added about a week of time to the assignment however I think it was time well spent because I was able to notice the problem myself and make the appropriate changes. In the end I'm happy with the results.

1.4 - HANDS & FEET

This assignment took me longer than expected mainly because I felt that both my feet and hands seemed to rigid so I spent a bit of time trying to properly depict them in different motions. I tried to be thorough with my selection of motion to ensure i had a proper understanding of the anatomy however. The result is below...

THE END...

Alright that's it for now, as i mentioned if there is an assignment for FILM & GAME PRODUCTION please let me know.

like always, all feedback and critique is welcome!

Next up... COLOR THEORY!.

Till Next Time Everybody.

18 days later

COLOR & LIGHT THEORY

Hey Everybody. I'm Back after getting through the Color & Light Theory Class. It was a bit of a hurdle because i began loosing motivation half way through this class but eventually i overcame it. That being said, i think it would be best to take a break from the classes in order to avoid burnout.

2.1 - COLOR PALETTES

This assignment was kinda simple i had fun drawing the character and choosing a color palette that i found appealing. The Character on the left was the initial concept however I realized that it didn't give me much options in terms of colors to use so i adjusted it a bit. the five figures on the right are the result.

2.2 - CAST SHADOWS EXERCISE & SHADING/ SHADOW EXERCISE

These assignments were straight forward; For the Shading and Shadow exercise i tried to challenge myself shapes themselves it was a bit more difficult to figure out the shadows as a result but i think i figured it out.

THATS IT!
Next up is TERM 5
