some studies from yesterday. The more rendered one was a bit of an irritation because only 30 mins or so into the drawing did I realize I was still on the background layer. I said to heck with it and kept drawing, smudging out mistakes. the painting and as I must admit the proportions lacked because of my inflexibility. Did some research on methods of construction yesterday so that failing should be nailed out with today's studies. Of course, nothing is really ever completely ruled out. Everything was done within the hour or lower cept for the last painting

about 3 hours and 10 mins. I started to waiver a bit from some concepts I mentioned earlier just because it's still new information. Luckily, because I was in the rendering stage at that point it didn't really matter.

Schmid study from yesterday I put my own spin on. I need to work harder, this isn't good enough. Will be doing a bunch of studies today to work out my process as I'm getting closer. More research needed. not enough.

Character design for an art competition.
A couple enlisted by the military, travels to the underworld to study it's inhabitants and secretly search for their daughter. One ends up dead and the other a monstrous nightmare.

This is a point out of the story showcasing Leaonard's rise out of the "Pond of Awaiting Souls" as the demonesque creature Purgator . Design sheet is from the 25th not the 20th lol.

a little absentee but here's some stuff I've worked on. I just picked stuff I didn't dislike to post lol. I did a brush test recently so I can't wait to use my updated set. isn't too different look wise from one of the Sargent studies but also has the feel of the last post too.
