No problem Studies are good, specifically I'd recommend life drawing people, and stopping at the sketch or sometimes line-art stage. Just normal anatomy training stuff โบI can see you spent a lot of time on this piece but nothing beats a good base drawing. I feel like if you put a lot of time into polishing pieces then they don't turn out as well because of mistakes made very early on in the process, it can be discouraging. Also it would take you a lot longer to improve because you'd be spending your time practicing lots of different things a little bit, and maybe not the things that really need it.
Good luck my dude, maybe think about starting an art blog in that section to put up your studies and track your progress. You don't need to if you just want to practice by yourself, it's the doing that's the most important thing, but it can be nice to get some encouragement
