Ooooh it looks great! Shading and colors look really nice, those terminators really make a huge difference. Signature looks god to me, it's simple and easy to identify. I think the course will eventually take use to develop our own brand.
I don't think I have a preference in gender to draw. I grew drawing mostly buff men due to two reasons, being a fan of Toriyama and let's say it wasn't that easy to draw girls in the environment I was usually in, especially anatomy since it involves some degree of nudity. So I simply ended up being more familiar with the male anatomy.
I enjoy doing both just as much for their own reasons. I love curves, elegance and refinement that usually goes with girls, and I also love the stoic, volume and sheer strength that usually goes with guys.
All that said, these days I’ll try to interchange the gender I draw for the simple reason that I want to be able to draw both to some degree of proficiency. To have both be just as attractive. In a way, I want both genders in the audience to like the characters I draw when they read my material.
Though I can see why people would want to be closer to one gender or the other for their works (Simple preference), I’m more of a fan of Murata’s take on it (one punch man), where both his guys and girls are incredibly attractive.
