Hi Vignesh,

The colours in your work are really vibrant and the variation in hue with the eyes is also appealing. One critique I could offer is to start the base of the painting darker and more desaturated so that the entire piece is not overly saturated and only the areas you intend. Also using fewer brush strokes may help you simplify the process and help limit your palette.

I see your point.I previously had the habit of starting the painting very desaturated and the painting ended up looking dull.To counter that i started to paint more with vibrant colors and now it has become like a bad habit of mine.I think i should find a middle ground to have a successful result.Cheers!

Thanks @brohawx .That Waterhouse was a part of a study challenge,even i wouldn't have tried to do a master study if i was choosing the ref. That's the fun of being a part of a group and doing group sudies!
