Fixed my food studies based off Marc's critique. Decided to leave jelly as is. Reducing translucency was taking away from the appeal.

They are all so yummy and greatly rendered, my only critique would be that you would need enormous slice of bread to put so many egg slices inside a part of the sandwich I think egg slices should be bigger and there should be less of them to maintain scale or maybe in USA you have bread that big xD

just noticed, on the character on the steps you indicate direct lighting on the character but then use soft shadows on the steps

I like how you didn't go with a scale material or reptile skin material, but you went with a straight up snake as a material

This is a lovely set of studies; I particularly love how you have captured the stretchy, tight look of the bats' folded wings, it looks natural.

The biggest stand out to me, is the pug in comparison to the others, it looks quite flat and lacks volume in comparison to the rest of the studies. Adding value in accordance to the geometrical shapes that make up the dog, sphere for the head, cylinders for legs etc, would help a great deal. I also think the bend of (the pugs right) right paw looks a little too bent also.

All in all though, it's a wonderful set of studies with tons of character; my personal favorite is the bat for sure. The gorillas fur looks great, and the gradual value change really shows volume. The texture and colours of the iguana are solid also.

Again, nice work, and fab studies.

No worries at all; I did the same thing with a timed study this morning, I was locked into working on the structure and details of the neck and shoulders.

Before I knew it, I had 30 seconds left and was figuratively kicking myself for not remembering to work the whole figure haha; it's easily done
