Photoshop 2 - Assignments part 1
This was a great way (and at times frustrating way - I'm looking at you, pen tool) to explore many different features in Photoshop. These were all first times for me, so I kept it simple.

2 and 10 minute gesture drawings. I will do 5 and 1 minute with these poses later!

Photoshop 2 - Assignments part 2

These were a lot of fun! Especially the smooth transitions between colors. I didn't use the smudge tool there, as I wanted to try it with only a brush and the color picker. I did use the smudge tool a bit for the three round shapes in assignment 5.
I also enjoyed making the fence brush. I played around with the symmetry option there.

10 head studies.
With the first two I didn't have a plan and I started to draw freely next to the reference. I had to adjust the proportions quite a bit with the second one because of that.
So for all the others after that I made some sort of grid (more like guidelines) before making the sketch. This really helped smoothen the process.
I also may struggle with Marc's instructions telling: "lineart only" :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: All these studies are at a different stage I guess. From sketchy to more detailed.

Really great studies! They look very accurate. One thing I would avoid though is cutting off the head and hair. I see it was cut off in your references in some cases, but you should likely choose references that are not cut off, or complete the areas that are cut off in your drawing.

Thank you for the comment! Ohh, I actually never thought about that. Why is that important to take into account?
