well i'm back .... i have some down time and i have a few days worth of doodlings to show you. I'll start with the gesture drawings 30 sec and 1 min.

From what I can tell these are looking really good.. i would suggest using a different presentation to make it a little more clear and be able to see the lineart

Thank you, i'll try to do that. This was an attempt on figure drawing using the way i've done up to now and Mark's suggestions.

Thank you. Weeeeeelllll i do like a good anatomy, but some times i feel like i go in too much detail, even when i don't have the skill and knowledge to do it.

they are far from exact match .... but close enough for me

this is me trying to do the room perspective ... trying is the key word there

and finally the brush control and the color fixing ... the last was done in Krita ... a fail is a fail, i know it's not the tools falt for my inability to see colors correctly

Also, good job on the figure studies, you are really showing great understanding of the 3D forms, the shapes and showing good restraint with your lines, applying very clear lines that help read the figure well, so just keep at it!

As for gestures, I know how you feel, it happens to me as well, there are days I just don't "feel" it, like I am going through the motions and they come out, not so good. I think it's normal, just keep practicing it, and be aware of your off days. Not sure what to do about off days, for me it's stop doing art sometimes and just watch a movie or exercise, then I come back to it refreshed but ymmv

The figure drawing is the one i enjoy the most and i guess it shows. Usually i do that too when ever i sense that i'm not in the zone, i stop watch a cartoon, a movie or some gaming, or take a walk and then give it a go ... How ever that makes me feel like i'm procrastinating too much, it feels as a double edged sword you're damned if you do it and damned if you don't do. So i make my self do it, better to do and be sorry for doing something then dreaming what might have been.

so ... here i'm, back again. I've been trying to do the course when ever i have time ( which isn't much sadly ). Furthermore i'm choosing to skip the photoshop assignments, purely because i payid for Clip Studio and i don't realy want to use PS for now.

well Hello there.
This is something new from me ... a drawing i did for fun. Since i've seen people post some of there art here on the forums, i decided to jump the gun. Hope you like it ... and do say what's wrong with it i know it will be a long list but still ...

This is the scetch i did. I did everything on a new lear - the figure, then naked body, armor/clothes, add-ons and hand/guns.
Yeah i know way too much layers ... buuut at the same time it's some what freening to know you won't mess up everything if you decide to "fix" something.

And finaly some traced over and side by side .... ahmmm ... "drawings" i gues

First of
all, merry Christmas.

As per
usual I’m dumping some of the things I have done the past few months. I don’t
have much free time so I’m doing what I can when I can and for that I’ve opted
out from the Photo Shop parts of the course.

I’ll start
with some color blending attempts. Some are “good” some not so much.

This is an environment
drawing I did as a practice.

And here we
have the torso muscle anatomy and the skeleton underneath. I know “the horror …. THE HORROR”

Some random
stuff … just for filler.

And finally,
something of a comparison of (hopefully) my increasing drawing skills. Yes, it’s
a lewd-furry pic, I blame my taste for 90’s cartoons such as Swat Katz, Biker mice
from mars and TaleSpin.

Any and all
feedback is welcomed.
