What should I improve?

Don´t really know what should I say about this picture. I just really like it, but I´d love to hear other opinions and critiques.....cause you know...you can always get better.

It´s called Cocytus and it´s a scene about a lost soul trapped in ninth circle of hell (Treachery....you know...where the Devil is)

I just think there is something odd in it, but I don´t know what?...composition? atmosphere? really can´t tell.

I like it too id say a skull is a little bit off but might be that u wanted it to be this way. And the second thing might be composition. Id say there is not a lot going on here, just a portrait of lost soul. Try diffrent compositions on little thumbnails and u might get it right. Athmosphere is alright for showing lonliness. However its not that good for hell. Id say there should be few tortured souls also in background ,maybe also little bit of orange/red lightning but im not sure about that, you can try this.
