What I am talking about is for example I have a project that I am into, I have all the resources, all the time i create for it, yet my process just makes my skills improve as i learn more for the project but then I no longer like what I was creating because now i have new line flow or structural knowledge and the hint of a new design is there so i start to chase that. Then I end up right back there again. All this time spent studying, drawing, iterating, checking, and then thumb nailing only to just constantly be starting over and over again. It honestly makes me feel that If I am taking 20+ hours just to end up starting over am I just not cut out for conceptual design work?
My biggest hump is from the thumbnail phase to choosing one to flesh out. Thanks for any advice you guys may provide. I am new to the forum so thanks for your time.
