Hello everyone!

This is my first post here on the forum and I’m showcasing my first two projects for Art School! I am working on a iPad 6th Generation with the original Apple Pencil on Procreate. Feel free to leave any constructive criticism and any tips or tricks. I’m super excited to get to know all of you!

-Assignment #3 Combining Images-

For this assignment I decided on these three photos for my dream home.

I love the idea of a hidden cottage out in the wilderness. It just looks so cozy and whimsical! This is what the final product looks like.

I am quite pleased with how the colours turned out for this. Let me know what you guys think.

I really like it! It's integreted very well in the landscape.
The only thing that I could say is that in the house the lightning is from above, but in the final piece it's sorrunded by trees so it seems a bit akward.
Maybe you could try to make the roof a bit in shadow and the side view a bit lighter following the light source. Apart from that really awesome job!! Keep posting

This looks great! The colors of the house and fire pit have been made to match the environment really well.
I think that the contrast on the house could be toned down a bit, looking at the tree in front there aren't any spots that are as dark as the corners of the house. With the house being further back in the scene there should few if any spots where the house is darker than the tree in front of it

This project was quite hard to do! It’s definitely not easy to make each apple look realistic.

-Assignment #4 Part Two Young to Old-

This project was rather fun as it was interesting to see how easily features on a portrait can be changed. Photoshop (and other tools like it) can be very powerful in the art world. I'm quite glad we are being taught how to use these awesome tools!

The liquify tool definitely is not my favourite tool to use but I think I made a good effort at trying to get this alien to look as much as this person as possible.

-Term 1 Assignment #5 Male & Female Proportions Sheet-

Today I watched the human proportions section of nude figure drawing in term 1. I drew this by hand while following along. I hope to do a few more of these sheets to perfect my proportions. Please share any tip or tricks that helped you when first starting off!

This is my art progress for 2020! I don’t have something for every single month but that is to be expected with this year being so hectic. I started Art school in June and I’m very excited to improve my work even further in 2021. 🎉

This is the piece that I have been working on recently. This is my submission for ART WAR 5. I choose to make an Inuit archer and her furry companion to defend Canada in the Art War. Please let me know what you think, I am quite proud of this piece! It was definitely outside my comfort zone.
