I'm gonna post all my progress here for my necromancer that I'm working on.
Here is the most updated dead guy! I'm done painting him! now time to work on his weapon and pose him!

Anyway here is what I have so far. Any critique is appreciated =D I'll post the scythe that he'll have soon.
This looks awesome! He has a great silhouette and all the forms read well. Only thing that I think you can work on is his jaw--his teeth seems a little low. Other than that, can't wait to see him textured! Are you going to add a strap for the book?
I am going to add a strap to the book, some chains wrapped around him! I should be finished texturing in a few days!

Textures look fantastic. The color scheme works really well for this character and it's refreshing as well. Looking at it from a distance, I do feel as though the purple hood gets a bit lost in the glowing purple spears. May I suggest darkening the hood to be more the color of the bottom of his drapery. I think it will help to add more contrast and draw more attention to the head..
