It looks really good. I think it is just the very final step of rendering details that is missing.

Just spend some more time on drawing individuals strands of hair, the flow and shape of it is already there.

As for the armour, I can see that here is some texture overlay, but you could also do a little hand painting on those to make them look more organic and to make them pop. Also, armour is metal, and metal is usually shiny, so some bright highlights to make it pop would be a nice addition.

Hey nice wip! The face looks great and the armor seems to be on the right way. I would however say that the head might be a bit big and she has a pretty long neck. Otherwise its a cool looking piece.

Hello! This is looking great, and I am loving the colors on her face. There is a few things to note however.

First, the neck is a bit long and it goes far too much to the left. Think about the connection of neck and torso! in this picture, there should be some more mass on her back to show that she indeed has a back, but as it stands; its almost as if she has no torso.

Secondly, although the face is beautifully rendered, you should get some reference for your skulls on her shoulderpads! Skulls are fun to make, and are all about expressing shape. Try to look at some and draw out the shapes before rendering them on her armor. Besides that, her thumb looks a bit weird due to the armor above. Remember, armor has thickness and make sure to express that! I can't say much about hair, as I'm not very good with it, but I also suggest trying to sketch out the feathers which are under her shoulders, otherwise they'll just look like clumps of paint!

Anyway, lovely painting. I really like the calming colors which only compliments and brings attention to her face. Good job ~

Hi there! As others have said, her face is beautifully rendered. Although, the eyebrows are a bit confusing to me. It's a bit hard to tell what's happening. Her far side eyebrow appears to be "normal", but the close eyebrow is going over the top of the hair. It looks cool, it's just spatially ambiguous.

I think you can stand to have a little bit more saturation in her cloak, maybe right at the edge of the light /dark transitions. You do have some edges outlined pretty darkly with an almost black line, but her back is very feathered. Maybe try to make those more consistent? If you are having trouble with that because the hue is so similar between the hair and the skin, try really increasing the contrast between those two. I think currently, the contrast is fairly low and it would be a stronger piece if you increased it in key areas of focus.

Lastly, I think the shoulder pad and shoulder area are too small in scale. They are technically a bit closer to our view point and I think can be scaled up a little bit. Her back should probably be further out... as now it does seem her head is a little too big for everything else.

Nitpicking aside, I tend to get pretty detailed with my critiques. I hope it helps. Very good work!
