The rules are just more flexible now, nothing's changed on your end other than you have 30 more days to submit a kickass entry

The fantasy vs sci-fi part was there from the start and is always at the core of our challenges.

The main page states that the dead line is October 17th 2017, yet the FAQ section states that the dealine is September 17th 2017. Which one is it?

October, FAQ wasn't just updated

You don't have to post the name of your post in this subject.

Ah, I only just found out that the deadline had been extended by a month through another user's forum post. I assume you didn't send out emails or anything because I never got one, would it not be sensible to inform people via email or similar? We may not have known otherwise! Not sure if I'm fond of extending the deadline so close to the end either, means we have to restructure a lot of planning and alter the scope quite a great deal. At least it will give those that entered later a better chance to compete, bit of a kick in the teeth to those pacing their time out from the start though.

Rant over anyway! Good luck to any new and existing entrants, you'll all do great!

They posted it on fb, didn't send any mails though. Dunno how easy that would have been. it's always a good thing to have some extra time to finish something, so yay

It was changed to October 17th on there as well. Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks for another great challenge. I really enjoyed the art war one.
QUESTION: If the dominant genre is either sci-fi or fantasy does that mean that the "minor" genre must be the opposite genre? So for eg. if I portray 80% Sci-fi new structures, should they be over 20% fantasy old structures? Or can it be a new sci-fi world on top of and old sci-fi world? OR new fantasy world on top of an old fantasy world? Does that make sense?

QUESTION ABOVE QUESTION ABOVE

This sounds cool :0 I'm not super good at backgrounds, but it's fun designing them. Might give this a try if I can find the time. ^_^
