I can see some good improvement in these figures, Nori! Awesome!
I especially like the fourth figure because the power/anger of the character really well

Thank you mau <3
Great to hear other people are noticing improvement!

I'm very very proud of the two sketches I will show you now.
One is a redraw of a reference I already used.
Both were tweaked a little bit after the awesome feedback from the artschool discord

Still need to get rid of my hairy lines, but it got already so much better!

Today I kind of started with term 2. I tried doing some heads and actually drew full heads instead of following the instructions. I will do the actual assignment later, but I needed to do sth cool today, as my mood is really low
As always I'm very open for any feedback you guys have

These portraits turned out so nice! Great work!

Your heads look great nothing sticks out to me and they look very solid! Your construction and facial feature placement are on point also great subtle rendering on the hair.

Thank you two so much! Very uplifting :sunny:
More portrait and head stuff will follow soon

Actually more will follow right now O:
I tried to draw Arwen and Galadriel from the lotr movies. I hope someday I will get those drawings more accurate! But as this is only my second try whith head construction, I like them quite a lot!

I think you did really well on these! What stands out the most is that you managed to create some likeness in those faces, which is great  Keep it up!

Looks great the likeness is definitely there. Keep up the good work!

You seem to be doing well so far! Keep it up!

thank you!! very encouraging to hear

I did another lotr portrait. Maybe I will change my topic soon, but I'm not sure what else could fit. Maybe I will continue with the art school terms, too.

So I recently leveled up my brush game by using a soft brush for blending.
I did the following two portraits I like a lot.

I looove what the soft brush is adding to your portraits. I agree that it really looks like a level up, pretty impressive immediate gains. Excited to see you use more of the technique.
