Welcome to the forums, looking forward to what you accomplish on your journey!

welcome in , awesome stuff you've created!

Welcome, Yaigrie!
You're pre-artschool works look very good!
I'm looking forward to see your progress and I am sure you can bring some great new insights to the forums

Thank you all so much for the kind welcome words <3

I continued with some figure drawings and hope to get myself to try perspective drawings soon, as they are "my worst enemy" until now

I don't like drawing man-made shapey things.
I avoided those and drew only organic things like humans, animals and... nothing else.
But I really like doing those figure drawings (so that I even can show the end results to other people  ) and will try to also keep those up to keep me motivated

those figure drawings look very good! i especially like the bottom right one
Keep up the good work!

I'm actually quite proud of this one in particular, because the pose was kinda hard to draw (harder than the standing ones), so thaaank youu

Today I managed to dip my toes into the perspective world and did the draw a room in 1p perspective assignment.

It's not actually my room, so it's not based on real life, but imagination.

Feedback for that one would be very appreciated, because that's such a new topic for me

I can see some good improvement in these figures, Nori! Awesome!
I especially like the fourth figure because the power/anger of the character really well

Thank you mau <3
Great to hear other people are noticing improvement!

I'm very very proud of the two sketches I will show you now.
One is a redraw of a reference I already used.
Both were tweaked a little bit after the awesome feedback from the artschool discord

Still need to get rid of my hairy lines, but it got already so much better!

13 days later

Today I kind of started with term 2. I tried doing some heads and actually drew full heads instead of following the instructions. I will do the actual assignment later, but I needed to do sth cool today, as my mood is really low
As always I'm very open for any feedback you guys have

These portraits turned out so nice! Great work!

Your heads look great nothing sticks out to me and they look very solid! Your construction and facial feature placement are on point also great subtle rendering on the hair.

Thank you two so much! Very uplifting :sunny:
More portrait and head stuff will follow soon

Actually more will follow right now O:
I tried to draw Arwen and Galadriel from the lotr movies. I hope someday I will get those drawings more accurate! But as this is only my second try whith head construction, I like them quite a lot!

I think you did really well on these! What stands out the most is that you managed to create some likeness in those faces, which is great  Keep it up!

Looks great the likeness is definitely there. Keep up the good work!
