Nice work! You are a braver person than I to paint this expression! Looks tough! Keep up the great work!
Looks like the progress is boomin. Nice to see you work in colour I haven't felt ready for that my self yet. Good work
Trying to draw consistent portraits of the same character. Much harder than I thought
Little bit of lip practice. Unfortunately not at all happy with the full face, looks well off! Need more practice 😩
Hi! Lips are looking solid my friend. If it comes to the face i noticed that all the components look good but are very slightly misaligned i struggle with it all the time. The angle you were going for is a very difficult one.Few tips that helped me with similar problems:1. Botom plane of the nose i USUALLY convex ( when lokingat it in 3/4 viewe from the bottom the further nose flap should hide a litle more behind the nose tip) 2. When drawing the secondary sphere for the lip area it is important to devide it with the line paralel to the line devideing main head sphere ti find the modle of the lips. 3. that one might just be me but usually when i squint and/or look upwards my cheeks move upwards closeing my eyes slightly from the outer sides (but now that i look at it you might just be looknig up whitout squinthing in that case ignore this one) 4. Fliping the canvas regulary helps a lot in spoting your own mistakes key part of drawing faces(and i mean like 4/5 mins then flip and work while the image is fliped 4/5 min then back again ).Other then that looks sweet man. I hope that my advice is helpfull and cant wait to see more of your work.
Great work! Faces and heads are super hard, like probably the hardest thing for me, Im just grinding construction all week!
Sorry for the late response @playforwho89 your advice is very much welcome. Thanks heaps for the tips, I’ll definitely take what you’ve given me and apply it. When comparing yours to mine the misalignment is quite obvious, thanks buddy!
Haven’t been on for awhile unfortunately. My motivation has been low sadly. But want to get back into it! So let’s go!
I love this perspective work, your line weight seems really well placed!
I've been struggling with motivation too so I understand that, let's try to keep each other motivated!
@Sasha thanks for your kind words. Looking at your work I think I hands a long way to go to get to your level! But for sure let’s stay motivated together!
Welcome back! The perspective piece is super dynamic! Really well done!
Good to be back @lockenheim. I see you haven’t slowed down with your progress buddy 😄. Thanks for the positive feedback.
Jeez if you don’t use it you lose it. Had to practice proportions again before trying the perspective body assignment
Some more practice, want to feel comfortable before moving on to perspective
3 point perspective looks awesome, really love it. I feel you with the proportions its hard to get the right especially in heavy perspective. Great practice, cant wait to see more.
Feeling a little more confident now. Should attempt to try perspective, yikes haha.
Thanks @playforwho89. Appreciate the kind words. Oh for sure, it’s going to difficult but I’m up for a perspective challenge lol.
This 4 point perspective came out okay. Not sure if the perspective is not aggressive enough to give that depth. Perhaps when I use the more accurate method Marc uses, instead of the flat method used here, it may look better.
