I'm struggling as well with the beach image, I started with the HUE setting I think it's the best starting point, it's the part after that I begin to struggle.

Finally begun the next part of anatomy! Not bad but I see I still need to focus on getting the roundness of the head guidelines correct. Some tend to be a little off. Also having a bit of difficulty with upward angles, specifically knowing how far the jaw and under the chin go.

More loomis method heads. Looking down front on was doing my head in! Just can’t get it right as you can see in the image. Any tips would be great!

Still haven’t got the look down and upwards figured out yet but have to move forward, on to the ears and nose!

These are looking really good! Your expressions inparticualr seem really on point! Lots of feeling on these. Great work with that! Constructions are looking good to! Keep it up!

The downward and upward looks really are hard. I think you would benefit from doing breakdowns on portrait photos. Its kinda tracing but focussed on understanding the patterns on the face: distances between certain areas, proportions and overlapping. The more you do, more you notice and memorize "guidelines".

Your noses look nice and the head construction is clean as heck, Cant wait to see the rest. If it comes to upward looking angle getting the deformation of the chin area is crucial.

Been a while since last post. Trying to practice some facial anatomy. Some are not bad, impressed myself 😁. Nadal image not the best haha.

2 hour drawing, I like how the nose turned out. Still need to practice the mouth, was lazy and went simple with it. Pretty happy with the result 😁. Please if anyone sees something off, or improvements please comment.

Based the portrait off Jason statham and a Body builder.
