antCGi - Getting back into painting

Hi everyone!

I've been on a journey over the past few years. After working in 3D for nearly two decades I decided I wanted to go back to my roots and get back into sketching and painting.

If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook you will have seen my progress from where I began to where I am now. I thought it might be useful to go back to the beginning and start a thread here, to share my progress in the hope that it may inspire of help other people.

2012

I decide to get back into sketching so I start a sketchpad of gesture drawings that I work on during my lunch break. For this I use websites like this - https://line-of-action.com/practice-tools/figure-drawing/ - which offers timed poses so you focus on shapes and forms rather than details.
