Well, I'm very excited to be participating in the second Art War competition. The character I'm going with will be a champion of light, and and automita. I'm thinking she'll have a sort of punk look, with lots of bright clashing pastels--but she'll also shoot 'friggin rainbow lasers, so hopefully the light aspect still sells well enough. For now all I have are some very rough sketches. Even so, if features of any of them catch your eye--in a good or bad way--let me know, i'd love to hear feedback!

Here's an update. I refined two of the ideas. I'll likely update again in a few days when I have a final design and a better idea of where to take the colors.

Thanks! I'm trying to combine elements of both designs for my next step. I'll post as things come along!

Here's the final line turn around for my character. I'll be uploading the colored version and some composition sketches as soon as I am able to!
