Yeah ! the anatomy looks way more natural on this one, especially that raised arm looking forward to see some colors on it as the assets details looks already good ..
Otherwise I completely understand about the cotton in your brain, my brain is going liquid as well thoses days ... Keep it up !!

So, once again, I have gone back over my design and fixed more flaws. There are still more but I was excited to get colours down. I think I'm gunna go with with number 3, though I may still experiment.

It looks good ! Really like the first one, I think it is the one that give the best contrast in the values

@nagavibz Thanks man, I like one as well. The only problem being he looks more like a dark knight/vampire thing and I was leaning more towards a hero/fighter look! :). I've resolved to push the contrast when I do the AO passes and highlights.

Maybe if you put these brighter color elements of the second one (that shiny yellowish color) on the dark base, it will take of that dark knight feel. His metal assets should look a bit brighter as well once you put the lightnings on it ... the 1 looks more realistic than the others as well but in my mind white knights are those one that come take the victory after the fight is finished lol

So here are two new iterations. I took your advice @nagavibz, I changed number one a bit but I'm still not getting into it. So instead i went back to number three, changed some colours to push the values more. I will move forward with (what is now) number 2.
