So after i tried some things and noticed that there are so many many many ways for the genre fantasy to do a character, i decided to give me some guidelines. (hope you can read it.)
I did 3 different Races here (probably for an mmo).
tried to give every race their special attitude( obviously only the girls atm :smiley:)

nice start! out of the 3 races I think the wild ones are the most interesting!
maybe you can push their uniqueness further.. maybe they grow up with a single beast that they tame and become partners?

since you'll only get to work on 1 character class, it might be better to show the entire race's personality in your concept/illustration. (in which i think beast taming race would be bad-ass!)

thats a good idea i already thought about doing something going in this direction.

and yeah you are right, that it might be better to show it of later, but i had so much fin with it the i decided to try to a little bit in this step too :stuck_out_tongue:

nice! my favorites are 1 and 3, in my opinion 2 might feel a bit sci-fi. between 1 and 3 I would argue that 3 has a stronger silhouette and it fits the concept of what you're going after. cheers! :smile:

but therefore i really liked the idea of the tamer i lost the motivation for the other ones :smiley:

I really like the look of those designs, the armored knights especially. 3 is my favorite:)

thanks of the feedback.
So i know now exactly what kind of character i want to do.
its a beast tamer, who connects to their tamed beast with a life to life connection ( if one dies the other one dies too) with a glowing crystal the tamer inserts to the beast.
and depending on abilities and the kind of the tamed beast, the abilities of the character changes too. ( even the appearance )
my character will possibly connect to a cheetah.
and i named her Lynn.

cool!!! I definitely like the claw weapon more than the dagger knuckles or the dual blades, it syncs better with the cheetah beast :smile: However I do think that the tail on the character is too obvious and almost a cliche? but thats just my opinion hahah. Awesome stuff, cant wait for more :smile:

I like fully armored models :smile:
But she may have one arm/hand naked, for the beast to smell her, but the other one heavy armored for mounted battles.

I don't know if my sentence is correctly written ^^ (I'm French :confused: )

@Steve_Kim thanks For the Feedback. Yeah i already tryed something Else instead of the tail but i was not sure so i Ended up with the clichee tail :smiley:
Unfortunately i damaged my Hand while working so i am not able to draw the next days ...( Rolling on the Floor Crying) :smiley:

@galaad1800 that's a cool idea i will try it and look how it works.

Like the concept and design of Lynn, and I love the color scheme. They look so unique :smile: The claw makes a lot sense for this character tho

a lot of nice designs here, i like the belt of 3/4, top of 1, shoulder armor of 4, leg/hip cloth of 2 :heart_eyes:

I enjoy the minimalist design of number 4. Gives me the impression of mobility and speed! Keep it up!
