And Currently, I only did some digital, sketches of my character Erika, of course "team fantasy" !
I want to explore some possible weapons, gesture and outfit options for her

I want her to be a typical scavenger/hunter/archer-ish type of character. I'm pretty undecided. The first thing that came to my mind was warrior, but I thin it would be too cliche. You're more than welcome to give my critique and tips on improving my work !

Thank you guys for the feedback ! Here's some progress on front, and colored version of the character for the concept. It will be in accompany of more refined sketches, some descriptions and text + back views as requested for the contest. For now, I want to try things out. I'm not sure if I will be able to transfer this exact details and color-scheme onto final illustration.

Im considering creating some expressions for concept sheet to, but I don't think it adds to much to the concept, so if I will do something like that, it will be at the very end.

Your colors are really nice ! It gives her a very soft feeling.

Love the color scheme you pick for her. I think they work really well. I kinda like her pose as well. I think it has a dynamic feeling into it. However, just my opinion, it may be better if she has some sort of an expression on her face. I may be wrong though. Give it a try. Otherwise, I like it a lot. Especially the colors.

I love the overal style, though I feel the thing on her left shoulder (the one facing us) might be falling a bit outside of what the rest is like. Maybe make it more like the rest, or add similar things in other places?

Thank you @ninoune @afifslim and @Biegeltoren for the feedback ! Here's some more progress on the concept sheet. I want to know if everything on it is readable, and if you guys think it's enough information. if not, I will fix all the mistakes and add some stuff.

For now I will take a break from this concept sheet, and worth on something that i feel more comfortable with - Illustration. Stay tuned for some thumbnails and mood sketches And as always, more feedback is appreciated !

Hey guys, So unfortunately, I feel like I hit the wall. I've tried to start my illustration by doing a bunch of thumbnails and find something that I like. But most of them have either terrible value and shape composition, or are completely unreadable.
On neither of this is the character visible, or stand out.
Some of them that I did, and consider decent, I feel like t hey miss the point of showing off my character and her personality.
Some of them just don't fit into fantasy genre. So Any tips on how can I improve them, or what I can do better are appreciated as always ! I will do next batch of thoes and see if I can find something better.

Hey guys ! a small update ! I've tried ot make some more thumbnails, and since for now I can't create anything more clearn and readable, I will just choose 3 of them and continue

Hey guys ! I did 5 quick , maybe 30 min speed Paintings to explore some ideas for the final illustration. But I'm stil undecided If I want to keep her in dynamic pose, with more of a storytelling approach, looking at her from the back, or bust shot. Both seem not to fit in the requirements ;/ So I guess I need some more time and tests for that.
