Dead whisper is a gas breathing pyromaniac villain. He discovered his powers at age 13 when he accidentally blew up his house with all his family inside, since that day the fire and destruction is his passion.

At first I was thinking on making him with a backpack with gas tanks, but I thought that would make him vulnerable when the gas is depleted. So I thought he can have a mutant capacity of expelling gas from his mouth to fill the gas cans.
Also! I want to make him ride a motorcycle so he can spread the gas easily and light it up with one of the many flares he carry. I already have in mind an idea for the illustration and in my mind the guy haves a maniac face, so the mask will cover a lot of the expression. For that to be solved I will maybe draw a big smile with triangular teeth on the mask.

Someone told me that it looked more like an evil sidekick so I worked the image a bit. Still needs some adjustments but it looks more convincing than before

So I'm still insecure about the character. It lacks of personality so I made it a little bit skinnier and worked on the face without the mask, gave it strange teeth wasted because of the gas he often breathes.

For the bike, some duct tape here and there, a nonsense word on the tank, no stupid rearviews, hand stitches in the seat and of course big big wheels

Thanks! I took my time to finish some work before I continue this. I made the back view and some color stuff, this time I worked on Procreate. I think is going like I wanted: a villain that looks insane, damaged and at the same time a guy that haves fun with what he does.

Yeah I didn't wanted the green red palette to avoid the character looking too much like the Joker, you know, big crazy smile, red, green... On the other hand I still need to solve the clothes colors and all the gadgets.

After sketching and playing with the final art format I decided to go with the vertical instead of the horizontal, the last is more of my taste as illustrator since I can put a lot of context and elements to create an entire scene, BUT! since is the character what we need to present here, the vertical will be the one to work with.
What do you think?

I ruined it hahahaha, but still 7 days left!

So I took everything that was ok for me and merged everything that I thought it was cool into this:

I think it looks a lot more like him, his insane personality, the vertigo, the unsafe driving and his loving feeling of seeing everything blow up.

Still a long way ahead but is taking shape already; I don't regret on changing the composition, it looks so much better now
