But if you want to do the first one you can too it's a nice one! Do you the manga Bleach ? Because there's some crazy great shot with similar composition that could inspire you to improve this one! And if you don't know it you should read it ! At first it's quite a classic manga style but once the author truly finds his own style it's just gorgeous!

Concept Sheet
The concept for Nox has been in the back of my head for a while and this contest was the perfect opportunity to flesh it out. His silhouette is reminiscent of holy and religious iconography, this exalts his divine quality and contrasts his nature since he is death to an universal scale, the scream of the universe, a lightning that stabs the heavens, his howl makes the stars die and the skies bleed, giving rest to some and allowing others to be born. However, he is a lesser god, forgotten but with a crucial role, and he patiently awaits .
In this concept sheet I not only included sketches and exploration but also some main inspiration and refference for the proccess.

I really emphasized the greater, darker cosmic aspect of Nox, he has access to powers untinkable for he is what he is. the beam is a quasar, his face, the void not even light can escape.
There is some beauty to his being.
