I'd planned on doing a villain, but most people seemed to have the same idea so hero it is, reluctant or not. Hands up to the bitter anti-heroes.

Rahiya is descended from a long line of earth deities that have been worshipped in various forms through every culture and civilization that has existed since the beginning of time. Their existence spurs on the balance of nature. They hold elemental powers and connection to every living creature on the planet. Mother nature has always been a force of chaotic neutrality.
Though, throughout these past centuries, their connection to mankind has diminished.

Rahiya does not hold the glorious aura of earthly power and unrivaled beauty that her ancestors did. Rather her appearance and demeanor reflect the torment and degeneration of her beloved earth and its natural inhabitants, caused by the humans that ravage it.

Though her place is to be a chaotic neutral, holding the balance of nature, the only way to survive is to become a force of chaotic good, fighting back against that which is destroying her heritage and threatening the future she longs to see.

So I'm still conflicted in my mind on whether I want to push for a more realistic aesthetic for Rahiya or if I want to go more stylised with hand-painted/semi-realistic textures.

Rahiya lives in modern day, so I intend to incorporate a modern day aesthetic feel but I need to incorporate and portray her elemental traits through her look and demeanor. I'm picturing a very girl-with-the-dragon tattoo vibe with a touch of hipster and steampunk twirled in while still incorporating earth, air, fire and water into her overall look.
Her physical attributes are worn. She's beat up but still strong. Her eyes are sunken, her clothes are ragged and worn, her hair tangled and messy. I've been thinking about her eyes smoldering with deep heat, like lava under the water

The extension they've given us is obviously a second chance and a kick in the ass. I've got 11 days to make my character. Get ready guys, insanely scrambling posts and updates are underway.

Update: Life just happens. Work has been psycho. I work days and nights.
I don't care that the deadline is passed, I'm still working on this project.
