Thats looking really sharp. At this point no matter what lighting you have itll be awesome. I cant wait to see what the ogre itself will look like if the boot looks that realistic. Crazy work so far.

Great texture work. Looks very natural. I think, adding couple scratches from the chains would add believability. Also, may be, couple leaks/stains - dirt/dried blood/mud/oil etc. Looks very promising. Keep it up!

thanks a lot, this motivates!

little update on the belt, the horns have a sculpt on them, the rest is only material and texture.
will sculpt the details now and add some more texture stuff.
back and forth..
a lot to do

@acap you are totally right. will do this for sure, starting with the scratches. later on i'll add some dirt and maybe a little bit of blood here and there.

oh my god, it takes ages.. never less, sleep less work harder and smarter.

playing a little bit with lights and thinking about what the final image should look like. i have an idea for the background.

i'll go with a cinematic resolution and look.
i'll try to make it like a frame out of a blizz-cinematic ... haha (dream-mode-off)

i kicked the face-skirt, it looked too morbid and didn't fit .

and i worked on the belt, still missing some details.

i hope i'm not boring you with all the images.

there are a lot of great entries, keep it up!

I think WETA does the cinematics for blizzard+? or did blizzard get their own cine studio? they have the money.

It´s true Blizzard has it owe Cinematics Teams, but for the Warcraft Movie there was ILM heavy on work for that Movie. SInce they worked much with live actors with bluescreens it makes sense.
