I'm uploading all of my progress from each week of this challenge. Unfortunately, I bit off considerably more than I can chew (new to digital art, never drawn a dragon before, haven't studied art since high school), and won't finish in time for the contest. Still, I'm quite proud of what I managed to accomplish.
Trying to add shadows
I'd be lying if I tried to pretend I'm not ridiculously proud of this drawing. When I started this contest, I didn't know if I would be able to see it through the end, and had no idea I could create something this detailed. I went from an awkward sketch to this scaled menace, and I'll be back next year to try again.
