I'm struggling between 3 + 4, I like beeing so close up to 3, but its a bit stiff. 4 has more energy..
yeah its a tough one. i guess being lightning its probably a good idea to have a good sense of energy in the piece so maybe 4 is the way to go . although if you wanted you could always zoom out slightly of 3 and add a arcing blade to its back hand so it appears as if it just finished a jump/dash with the blade

Looking sweet. Maybe you can have an enemy or building prop cleanly sliced mid-air in the BG, as if your champion just sliced through. Maybe add a glow to the swords or his light-blue cranium.
So this is it! I got really busy with work so I couldnt spent as much time on the final steps as I would have liked to, but you gotta call it done at some point, anyway. Was a lot of fun, thanks for the support...cheers, jens
