These are the sketches of the turvant along with some ideas to apply to the face. I'm still not convinced by these sketches, so I'll keep exploring to find the best idea.

It looks great! Patterns and all this cloth layers of the turban fascinate me. Personally I like variant 3 for the turban pattern, these hanging details from the first one ; and her face is so cute so I would make the pattern on face simpler, to see it clearly. You always can make it more interesting with color and gradient

Thank you for commenting @dancerindarkk. What you say about the face is totally true, I think that just like in the old textured turban, the watermarks draw too much attention to the face. I'm going to keep doing vowels to see which one I get.

I decided to put a coat of mail to the character that would be decorated with some gold coins that I will show you in the next post in this blog.
The first thing I did was to make the chain mail in "zbrush" so that it became a pattern. Then I captured its volume, color and transparency and then I took it to "Substance painter" and there I gave it the gold material. I exported the texture of the opacity and as you can see I painted the rings that came out of the texture black so that it didn't show that it was a pattern. Later I took the opacity texture to "Zubrus" to get an idea and to place the coins (I hope you understand all the phases of the process, they were not complicated at all)

Nice character and direction, i like the coins idea, looks like this is going to turn out well, looking forward to it.

I think she has amazing face but her absolutely magnetic eyes slightly lost under these face patterns, but probably I don't see the whole idea and I could be wrong.
I enjoy to watch how you create your hero! Such attention to details and combinations of different textures!

@Sergei_Pakhomov Yes, I certainly have to give a couple of flips to the face design, even the eyes. I'm going to do more vocals and try out textures.

The process for making the coins was very similar to the one for the Mayan coin. Although in this case I made the details of the mandalas in clipstudio and combined them in Substance painter. Then the truth is that I spent several hours placing them both in front and behind, and I still have many to put distributed throughout the body.

Nice patterns on the coins, i never thought to do things in this way, really opens the doors on what might be a good thing to try sometime in the future. Patterns, and such to add in details as you are doing, the turvan is eye catching.

Well, using "clipstudio" to make any kind of drawing is very good. There is no 3D program where you can make such good strokes and do things like mandalas or different symmetries (photoshop doesn't have so many possibilities in that aspect)

It's been a while since I've published here, but the project is almost finished. Right now I'm working on the textures and trying out various effects. While I'm uploading the delayed material (maybe I'll end up presenting the final project and the following days I'll continue uploading images of the project).
These are some quick sketches of the pose and the clothes the character will wear. I also want to add a lot of decorative elements and fabrics.

Of course, I realized that in my first blog post I didn't put my link to instagram (I'm very clueless) so I put it now in case you want to take a look.

But before that, if moderator @malcom or any other person can answer me the following question: are these floating stones valid for the contest? I think I remember that in the rules it says that there can't be a stage but I think this doesn't count. I really should have thought about it before I did it

Thank you so much for answering so quickly, I really sweated it out in case it didn't go off. Now I'm gonna keep thinking about how I can make them not so crappy XD.

I was re-reading the rules of the contest and I realized that it says that you can't take models that you made yourself, so I thought that maybe someone would look at my retopology and believe that it is the retopology of "Genesis" the models of DAZ. But the truth is that the original base belongs to a work I did before and to which (as I didn't know much about rhetopaedics (and I'm still learning)) I took as a reference the predefined model of Daz, it was very useful especially to see how to do rhetopaedics in very specific areas such as elbows and ears. For this work I eliminated all the parts of the body that were not seen to save polygons.
To finish off, I looked at a "genesis" model to get a better idea of some of the details that appear in the image. Above all I did it to look at the nails (because my model seemed to have black puddings for XD fingers) and the reference nails have always seemed very nice but it is much more laborious than it seemed especially in the foot, because the fingers had stuck to each other, so I had to make them thin and once done the bolverlos retopology has made them fat carefully. Finally, I replaced the two spheres that I had left for eyes and again I copied the topology of the reference to save all the polygons that were not seen.
I have accompanied it with a sketch that I have made of a possible texture of the face, still I do not have it clear because perhaps inpida to see with clarity the face What do you think?

I have been drawing the textures and approving them to get more bolument than the model originally has, that way I intend to increase the quality without increasing the number of polygons, I have made the gif so you can see that really much of the bolument is painted on the texture. I have also added the gradient that more or less I pretend the character has in his clothes.

I'm now on the subject of face textures as @Sergei_Pakhomov said in the previous comments.
I'm trying out textures for the face to see where the final design can go. They are just "smart materials" of subtance painter (except the white face in the center which is the model without texture)

Now I have the whole model modelled and uploaded to Sketchfab with almost all the textures in place (these days have been crazy trying out textures and effects to make everything look good in Sketchfab (I've never uploaded a model to Sketchfab before)
