A Japanese Champion with designs inspired by traditional samurais and one of the country's mythical creatures (The Kirin).
Still in the proccess of concepting so here's a quick anim of one of the weapons that my champion will have with her.
Here's the concept i made that i'll be creating my submission off of:
The weapon is still up in the air in terms of it's final design but it's a step forward
cool design, looking forward to see how it will translate to 3D
Got a pass of the body's base done. Still some tweaks to do to the muscle information and proportion but i'm going to get a more sculptable mesh made now. Then i'll fix/clean up the mesh and then move onto armor creation
Started blocking out her armor/clothing
Made more progress on the blockout state of her armor/clothing
Converted the concepted armor meshes to a more cleaner and sculptable mesh. Now i get to do alot more sculpting!

Did a test render in marmoset recently
Here's my model's state in terms of detail. The pose is almost done on my end. Will post that next then move onto textures
Got the model posed, and some texturing done. Slightly changed the direction of this piece with the extended deadline.
Got a low res capture of some of the textures i got applied on the model Going to continue texturing throughout the week, add some particles, fine tune the lighting & camera angle, then polish anything needed in the end
Finally done! Here's my submission of my Japanese Champion! It's been awhile since i 3D modeled a design that i concepted myself but it was a super fun challenge that taught me along the way!
