Yeah, it's definitely different and quite frankly, I have no idea what I'm doing...
It partially explains why I didn't update my post. Also, I'm still a little bit incapacitated due to my injured wrists so I thought "Well, I won't be able to keep on working on this one"... and then I saw that the deadline was extended to March 5th ! 
Not happy at all with the result but I'm determined to keep working on it until the end.
So the starting idea was "What if Dark Souls was set in a slighly inspired Giger-esque world ? What kind of enemy would make me quiver with fear ?" (That was my first sketch)
Then I put in some shading, and the alien stuff completely disappeared...
Right now the armor is horrible and wrong in so many ways (and it's not even finished). I'll probably go back to something more Giger-resque. I dunno. Maybe it will be too hard for my poor skills...
I'll stop with my rambling. Back to work !
