Hi

This is my last character i´ve been working for the Dylan Ekren class, its not over yet, i need to do some fixes an a render but i want to show my progress.

I wanna thank the amazing artist Hong SoonSang (https://www.artstation.com/soonsanghong54) for giving me the oportunity to create a 3D version of his amazing concept.

I really enjoy the curse, Dylan was an amazing teacher and the classes were full of pretty usefull information.

Topology

I love her face and expression but get the feeling it just doesn't fit with her assassin class. She looks too nice to be a murderer. Or she's a very diabolical assassin?

Pretty nice work! I think you definitely did justice to the original design, no matter whether she's an assassin or a samurai

Really awesome work here. I don;t see people pull off characters with afros really well so this is awesome to see. Nice clean topo. Solid work.

Making hair is tough, making afro hair might be even tougher. The problem here is that you treat them like non-afro hair, too smooth.
I don't know if you want to stick to sculting the hair but if you want to try to use alphas maybe this tuto will help you

The hair look good with the final lighting

If I may give you one last advice, this one about character presentation to boost even further the "wohw effect".

Add a subtle ground so your character has a stronger presence into your scene (unless it flies). Some character artists just add shadows, simple and efficient, like the Elf artwork from Vahid Ahmadi for instance.

And if you have time, you can even add a few details about the surrounding environment (very subtle) for more story telling and context, like the artwork "Wild West Challenge - Native American" from Nikita Svechnikov.

omg i never though about that! thats a good advice leeeeeeeeeeeetme do that!

That render test looks really, really good! I also find that adding a groundplane would be a neat idea. Great job!

Its been a while, i started other proyects but i really want to finish her with a good looking render, i fix some posing issues with the leg, i gonna do other pass to the hari and i want to add a small environment for the story telling, also restart again the process of render, because i really want to create mood, here is a little preview of what i´ve done.
