2/5 from last week

NGL, Monster hunter Wilds took up my time last week following its release and I'm having a blast, lol so I have no one to blame but myself here for being stuck on Week 5, but here we go again :joy:

15 days later

I've reached that point in my 'Gonna start drawing again' journey where I am losing motivation, lol. 3 months is typically my trend of when I start to taper off, then next thing I know another year has gone by. I've been drawing here and there, still on week 5 I refuse to move on until at least I have the 5 character linearts done.

I get that same feeling all the time. For some reason just sitting down to start is super hard. I hope you don’t stop now. I think part of it is that it’s hard to see the improvements from day to day but over time they really add up. I have been in that same situation so many times and It’s super annoying to start over again after a year has passed and you will be kicking yourself later for not sticking to it. Maybe try doing some just for fun drawings for a while but keep posting on the forums. Don’t give up!

You don't need to draw for long periods. Just at least 10 minutes a day are enough.

Thank you! Happy I'm not the only one lol I'll try to keep it up and just do little things until I breakthrough the demotivation, idk why its so hard to do something you WANT to do sometimes.

Yea thats what I'm trying to aim for, usually once I manage to sit down to do a few minutes I'll go for a bit longer. Sometimes just trying to sit and do it is so hard lol but thats no real excuse I guess

Whatever time you have is still better than nothing. Pick a time in the day when you have time to spare and just draw. Maybe in the morning.
