Some exercises, some assignments, and some studies. My gesture drawings are awful -.- I made them for 1 min and the panic was huge

Some studies, exercises, 1 point perspective room. The last one is my progress on this piece, I really could use some CC to improved it

Yo, I really like your linework, very solid!
Your colored pieces are also looking good. I am not too familiar with the theory behind composition in large vertical pieces (though some of my favorite pieces of traditional art are in this format)

From what I can tell it is quite balanced to my eyes. I tend to gravitate my view to the middle, maybe the background at the top is a bit busy and the level of detail I find to be a bit too homogeneous - I think varying LOD with some more detailed plants maybe a single flower and lowering a bit the LOD on the farther background can help

cheers

What is LOD  I appreciate the feedback. I will work on the background a little more. Maybe the middle is too empty. There is an update

Looking good!

LOD is level of detail šŸ˜… I think gaming has damaged me as the term is used a lot in technical speak on gaming

Cheers!

Don’t worry. Most of the abbreviations are mystery for me

Just finished this piece. It’s a Pleinair (fancy word for drawing outside, my feet are frozen :D) 7-8 hours in total. First one is in progress state

Those landscape drawings are looking good. I also applaud you for drawing/painting traditionally - it definitely takes a different skill set than doing so digitally. The only feedback I can provide relates to your head studies. I see that you are currently practicing drawing the planes of the head. I would suggest also studying the human skull and rotating it in space. I say this because the construction of the human skull helps explain a lot of the planes of the face, with the few remaining ones explained by facial fat pads which is something you can tackle thereafter. Hopefully, this feedback comes in handy. Until your next post, I will anxiously await more of your paintings

just found your topic. I love your landscapes!

I saw this rose and immediately wanted to draw it. A colour study and brush study. I’m trying to get more familiar with different brushes, because I usually use two
