Working on some more faces This one is slightly raising her eyebrow giving her expression some attitude ^^

And done ^^ i called her Deria for..some obvious reasons since she is part deer and she has this a bit daring look in her face yet still playful

coloured version What do you guys prefer ? with Iris and Pupil or without ?

Wow, Imust say that the amount of ideas and creativity you've shown in this thread is amazing! It's really awesome to see

As for Deria, I actually like both the blank eyes and the one with the pupils. However, I'm wondering what she would look like with dark/black blank eyes instead, since deers usually have these large dark-brown eyes.

What do you think ?

I kinda feel it but i don't know how to add ( or if i even have to) the lashes because that kind of overpowers the darkness got the eyelashes ^^ I made them less...dramatic since deers also have just long upper lashes facing more downwards

Really nice works overall, it is impressive to watch your progression over time
I tried to find advices but could come with only one, try to watch your values. The background goes from black to white, while we would want it to go from grey to white-ish (for a greyscale picture)
Here's an example of what i mean :

The dark-rising.jpg piece looks so epic. Also, I like the way the brown eyes look on Deria. I'm glad you picked those

For all of my classmates making fun of me because i only seem to draw females xD And with classmates i mean my dumb friends Mike and JonasJust adding my sign and some top lighting

If anyone has ideas for what could be a cool steampunk weapon, Im open for ideas ^^ working on his armor / clothing

starting again with the landscape ^^ And i am kind of bored with the normal view so I' trying to switch it up

And if someone can help me with an Issue i have... i want to resize this painting, like the whole frame so i can make it more wide but i just don't know how to do it,, everytime I use the crop tool it leaves those blanc spaces to the right and i can't get rid of them

colorblocking my res character and i already did the basics from the hair ^^ The problem i have with this Painting is that I don't want to really proceed in painting it yet because of my first Issue that i had, that the image should actually be wider and I think that would also affect the way i would place like the smoke coming out of his 'flight-weapon' and general tweaks ...so..if anyone knows what to do please tell me

but i also have to go to sleep now <-< catch 'ya guys tomorrow

Tbh guys i think i need kind of a break..not like for weeks or stuff but i see that i kind of lost some inspiration and can't find some at the moment and it seems like I...I don't know..sometimes i can paint like really good for my skill level and then there are days where i just want to bang my head on the table xD maybe some of you know what I mean but right now i think i can't really paint out of motivation its kind of just so i keep on rolling.. Idk if i will take some time off or if tomorrow my art block will be gone..hopefully

Hm, sometimes all you need is a little rest, but some other times you have to push through, i think. Carry yourself more through force of iron discipline, than motivation and inspiration, which are fickle things. That said, music and exercise usually help me regain some creative energy.
