Hi! I really like the cool pose and perspective in this image and the overall idea with the light coming from the top and shining through the holes in the strawhat. I think in order to make it even more interesting you could pay more attention to and push this cool lighting setup a bit further.
I made this example real quick to demonstrate what I mean. It's very rough and really just a few overlay and multiply layers, but I hope it helps.
The main thing I changed is, that I introduced clear shadow and light areas in the image and tried creating more contrast overall. The hat now casts a shadow on the face and the body, while the arm pops out of the shadow and gets lit by the intense light from above, which makes the whole scene more believable and interesting in my opinion.
