Drinking and talking at the bar

This is my progress so far for a scene of a couple guys at the bar. This is the composition I settled on. Want to post my progress as this piece comes along.

Any advice for composition, and links are more than welcome!

Made a couple hours progress on this. I think the composition is more or less set in stone. I just have to flesh out the rack of drinks behind the bartender, the bar itself, and then begin adding colors. Maybe I will do something crazy with the colors in the background also.

I think I bit off more than I can chew with this one. I am tired of working on this one but I wanna see it through to the end.
