Hello everyone!
I just want to share to you what I have been working on for the past month. This quarantine made me rethink my career choices (running Cafe's in my Alma mater). I figured, or at least I think I could kind of sculpt. I have been dabbling with ZBrush for 4 years now. I never really cared if I was honing my skills fast enough or if even I was; I was doing it for fun. But, like I said, the quarantine made me re-evaluate my career situation - I thought sculpting toys for a living sounded cool; maybe I can give it a shot? So, now I am trying to build a portfolio, and this is the first piece I'm thinking of posting.
There's still a lot of work that needs to be done. I'm really struggling with the hair. I'm still not sure if I'm going to stick with the head that I have (this head is the 7th iteration) and I still need to decide what expression to give her!
Right now, I'm not trying not to get to tertiary details just yet. I want to make sure the silhouette, pose, dynamism, etc are there. So, for the most part of my modeling sessions, I spend a long time just staring at it.
Anywho, I know I'm not very active on this forum, but if you have some input you can give me, I'm all ears! I'm gonna try to work on this some more and not rush it since I want this to be almost perfect by the time I put it on my portfolio. Ooh and I'm gonna try to print it too!
Thanks for looking!
Stay safe!
