Ok I’m getting some ideas as it whe I want to see this submission go. These are some early ideation sketches, the first of which I seem to be throwing between this and a separate other project. Hope you all like, I’m going to go reference hunting now.
The first one is really cool designed.
I like the first one as well, though it can be subject to change depending on weather it is dark or light.

While I keep looking for references I like I just sketched up some simple demons that I think look fun.
Ok so I was just sketching about and it lookeds like I’m going for some form of dark mage. These are the first ideas that are headed in a direction I like.
And refining.
Ok I think I'm getting an idea of who this character is.
High priestess and emporor of the realms of darkness and turmoil where the only measure of ones worth is their strength. She stands atop the pile for her magic was powerful enough to unite the 4 armies of shadow and dark.
Or something along those lines 😁😁

Yes! Soon as I started sketching the previous ones I felt like I was on the right path. This one is just cementing that 😀

Havnt dropped out, just wound up on a much longer than anticipated holiday. These are some weapon ideas I'm throwing about and a sketch with an overall feel for the character. Plan on locking it down sometime tomorrow morning.

Quick update, working on those turnarounds and starting to think llustration comp. I picture using cool phantom fists and limbs, sort of like the gates of babalon from fate zero style.
playing with some colors, seeing which I really like.after receiving some feedback from a few friends I made a second color test with the more popular choices from the first and a few new ones.
D and E look best in my opinion.
