@tbrk @innocent thanks, guys! I like her the most with bright hair. The illustration will be with her sitting on the throne inside a dark tree. Just some rays of light permeate there. So she should be contrasting with the background and herself as @innocent said
You concept is awesome, she looks like a Medusa figure on the Light side. Like the thumbnails for your illustration as well!

I've chose the 2nd thumbnail for an illustration. For me it has more interesting angle than 1st. I just need to show a perspective right And here's a little more detailed sketch.
I like the angle. And overall atmosphere is also good.

That's the rough b&w values. I decided to make her waking up. At the picture we can see the first seconds after she opened her eyes. The goddess has woken up

I've added some details and now this place looks cozy But maybe it's not so comfortably to sit on the stone throne.... especially for hundreds of years
