I think the backside of the lady infront is just a little too white ... like the bounce light that is coming from the roocks

I may have goofed up but it was pretty white in the referance pictre too. Here i'll share it .Also i don't think that's bounce light. I think there's a second light source with a brownish color somewhere underneath the picture. Here.

Decided to post some of the things i did when i started out with digital painting. The first one was one of my 1st tries. I did it after watching some draw with jazza turorials. The murlock was attempted after finding out Marc's Channel, what is now called Brushboost. I wanted to try working more 'organicaly' xD. It is obvious i didn't know much at all about color and values. Or anatomy. Or anything. Oh well.. xD

Now redo that same throwback illustrations with what you learned now, so you can see how you would do things now, and why, by the way. Sometimes its hard to distinguish which is the study, which is the original.

So maybe including in a text format Original / Study or something of similar nature can help with that.

Ryan Metcalf's Felbat Study. His is still miles better and i have to admit that i have to peek to the original in order to push mine so far. I guess i still have a long way to go. Nevertheless. Good practise, and what an awesome design.
